Florida Bright Futures

GSTC LOGO Florida Bright Futures Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded by the State of Florida for Florida residents who graduated from a Florida high school. If you are a high school Senior, contact your high school guidance counselor to determine your eligibility. If you have graduated high school already and are unsure if you have any Florida Bright Futures eligibility contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA) at 1-888-827-2004 or e-mail OSFA at OSFA@fldoe.org. You may also look your information up on their website at www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org.

Currently Florida Bright Futures pays $1.57 towards each clock hour the student is enrolled for. These funds are paid per semester directly to the school. If a student withdraws from a program and has not used up all the funds that Bright Futures has paid the student may have to repay the Bright Futures award for any course withdrawn from.
