he Correctional Officer Program prepares students for employment as Correctional Officers. The program prepares students for certification as a correctional officer in accordance with Chapter 943, Florida Statues.

PROGRAM CONTENT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

Course Prerequisites:

School District Recognized Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

A physical training pre-test is required

Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT) $40.00

Fingerprint Card processed by FDLE and FBI $55.00

Physical exam with EKG Results and Drub Screen (Cost varies with each doctor)

Program Length: A student may expect to complete this program in  hours.

Certification and Licensure: The State of Florida Officer Certification Exam must be passed upon completion of basic training.

Program Costs: Estimated program costs based on program completion in 420 hours are:

$1,667.60
