he Law Enforcement Program prepares students as entry level Law Enforcement Officers, such as Police Officer or Deputy Sheriff, and those occupations listed under 375 and 377 of the Directory of Occupational Titles that require entry level certification in accordance with Chapter 943, Florida Statutes.

PROGRAM CONTENT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COURSES:

Course Prerequisites:

School District Recognized Accredited High School Diploma or GED.

A physical training pre-test is required

Criminal Justice Basic Abilities Test (CJBAT) $40.00

Fingerprint Card processed by FDLE and FBI $55.00

Physical exam with EKG Results and Drub Screen (Cost varies with each doctor)

Program Length: A student may expect to complete this program in 770 hours.

Certification and Licensure: The State of Florida Officer Certification Exam must be passed upon completion of basic training.

Program Costs: Estimated program costs based on program completion in 770 hours are:
